Home grown talents are being showcased tomorrow when Southgate Community Centre hosts its first ever community panto.
And the performance of Cinderella is very much a community effort.
Tim Sheppard, a trustee of the Southgate Community Partnership has written the all singing, all dancing show and a cast of 30, whose ages range from six to 80, will be putting on a performance to be proud of.
Jackie Tooley, centre administrator has been creating some of the costumes and will play fairy godmather while young people from the youth group will be taking on various roles. Church minister the Rev Peter Gibson will be treading the boards as Lucas, an aide, and
local councillor Sarah Stamp will play her part in the chorus line.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £2 children and are available from the community centre office or on the door.
Performances are at 2pm and 7pm.
