Clock ticking for chance to exhibit at our business show

TIME is fast running out for companies who want to book a stand at the Bury Free Press Business Show.

The free event which is to take place at The Athenaeum in Bury St Edmunds on September 18, is set to attract businesses of all sizes from across the region.

As well as a chance to meet the various exhibiting businesses, the show, which starts at 3pm, has a variety of essential events, all with the aim of helping firms to do business. First up there will be a presentation by West Suffolk College on the growing trend for people to turn to their mobile phones when looking for a service or business.

The ‘mobile movement’,at 3.30pm, will be full of advice about how you can capitalise on mobile web browsing.

The United States Air Force will also be on hand from 5pm with a seminar on procurement contracts and how you can help you business gain that extra work.

Finally, there will be a chance to do some straight face-to-face business with a speed networking event organised by Suffolk Chamber of Commerce at 5.45pm.

All of the show’s events are free – however it is expected to be busy and places are limited and pre-registering for tickets is strongly advised.
