Classics for Sarah’s fund

OWNERS of historic cars still have time to join a run and display in aid of the Sarah Applin Trust Fund.

Though organiser Eamonn Harvey is calling it a Classic Car Run and Display, he will welcome any historic car, from Veterans onwards.

The plan is to take a gentle 20-mile drive round West Suffolk, then display the cars at The White Horse, Beyton, where there will be a barbecue and buffet and prize for the run’s best car.

Proceeds will go towards a motion bed for West Suffolk Hospital and to help Sarah’s three children. She died of swine flu in 2011, soon after her son William was delivered.

To enter, send a £10 cheque payable to ‘West Suffolk Hospital NHS - Sarah Applin Trust’ to Eamonn Harvey, 58 The Green, Rougham, Bury St Edmunds, IP30 9PJ. For details call 0774 6071361.
