OWNERS of classic and sports cars are being invited to help make a charity car show even bigger and better than last year.

The Classic and Sports Cars by the Lake show at Hall Farm, Fornham St Martin, last year not only raised £18,774 for St Nicholas Hospice Care but attracted rare and unusual cars from all over the country.

This year’s event from 11am to 4.30pm on September 9 will be the third organised by the farm’s owners, Andrew and Gina Long, with the hospice’s voluntary special events committee and is sponsored by NFU Mutual Bury St Edmunds for the first time.

Andrew said: “We encourage people to spend the day at Hall Farm, enjoy viewing the stunning vehicles, taking time in the marquees to look at the wonderful selection of stalls or visiting The Coffee House’s Vintage Café.”

Suffolk Food Halls and Greene King will be offering their produce, too.
