Police are appealing for witnesses after the theft of a milk churn used to collect church donations in Great Livermere.
The incident occurred between 9.10am and 7.30pm on Friday June 27 outside St Peter’s church.
The church had used the milk churn for over 30 years to collect donations.
It was secured to a gate post by a lock and chain, which were cut off by the thief.
The milk churn is valued at around £50 and it is estimated there was around £150 of donations inside.
