Shoppers in Bury St Edmunds are in with a chance to win £100 of shopping vouchers if they join the town’s Christmas Challenge.
Organised by Bid4Bury, shoppers will need a stamp from nine of the 12 businesses taking part to be entered into a draw for the vouchers.
Entry forms are available from Monday until December 31 from those taking part. They are Bowyers Motorcycles, Auntie Pam’s Sweetshop, Benson Blakes, Ivory, The One Bull, Palmers, Parsley Pot, LP Bar, Sheridan’s Estate Agents, the Tourist Information Centre, Theatre Royal and Waitrose.
The challenge is part of the run up to this year’s Christmas shopping extravaganza with lights being switched on on Thursday by Sue Kemp from McDonalds, a winner in the Bury Free Press Business awards. There is also a Christmas charity market with a packed programme on Cornhill and The Butter Market. Parking is free from 4pm on switch on night and late night shopping evenings December 6, 13 and 20.
