A massive £21,000 has been raised by this year’s Hidden Gardens and on Tuesday a cheque was presented to St Nicholas Hospice Care.
The June 16 event attracted more than 2,500 people who enjoyed a browse around 32 beautiful gardens within the Bury St Edmunds medeival core.
The event, which is in its 27th year, was organised by a small team of volunteers with the generous and willing support of the 32 garden owners.
And during the day teas, home made cakes, ice cream and musical entertainment helped raise £7,000 of the total through sales and donations.
The Hidden Gardens was sponosred by Gross & Co and Dutton Estate Agents.
