Charity United Response is hosting a special Living Well with Dementia day at the Museum of East Anglian Life in Stowmarket next week.
The day, on Thursday October 16, is a chance for people with dementia and their carers to explore and capture memories in activity sessions aimed at triggering memory pathways.
The sessions will include the use of photography, guided creative writing and memory books.
Dion Allen, fro United Response, said: “We want to invite anyone who is interested, and perhaps concerned about a relative, friend or neighbour to come along and meet the experts.
“For those taking part in the sessions it is an opportunity to enjoy being with other people in the safe and stimulating environment of the museum, trying different activities and making new memories.~ “Feedback from the day will help us shape more events like this in the future.”
There are 40 places available for the day - £20 per person with dementia with no cost for their partner/carer.
The price includes tea and coffee at the start of the day, a choice of two activity sessions and access to the museum and the grounds.
