A charity which supports disadvantaged young people is appealing for Easter Egg donations, which it will hand out to various organisations.

The Crack On Foundation is calling on people to donate the eggs at its shop in Brentgovel Street, Bury, which they will give to organisations such as St Nicholas Hospice Care, West Suffolk Hospital and children’s care homes.

The charity has run an Easter Egg appeal for five years and handed out about 4,000 eggs.

Mark Byford, CEO of Crack On, said: “It’s a case of the more eggs the better, we will always find a home for them.

“We have collected thousands of them over the years and we are never short of places to drop them off.”
