A cashpoint in Needham Market, ram-raided in July, has now been replaced.

On July 28, an ATM, at Barclays Bank in Barrett’s Lane, was pulled from the building with a JCB digger causing extensive damage.

The incident had left the town with only one cash machine in the post office which has limited opening hours.

Town Clerk Kevin Hunter said it was great to have the cash point back.

He said: “It is a valuable asset for the town.

“It’s loss had quite an impact to Needham Market.”
