St Peter’s House Care Home in Bury St Edmunds hosted its annual garden party on Saturday September 12.
The event attracted more than 100 people, raising around £1,000 for the home.
The money will be put towards creating a special beach-themed garden with a workshop area to help people suffering with dementia.
The care home’s general manager, Naomi Nunn, said: “We had six vintage cars, ice creams, games a raffle and more going on in the garden.
“Our garden project aims to open the outside areas to the residents all year round.”
Naomi said she would like to thank Mole valley Country Stores, Waitrose, Foskers Fruit and Veg, Thomas Ridley, All Over Beauty and everyone else who contributed prizes towards the raffle.
She also thanked the Thurston Creamery for donating 200 tubs of ice cream for the event.
