Car on fire in Bury St Edmunds

A CREW from Bury St Edmunds were called to deal with a car fire in the town today.

The call came in at around 5.50am and the Bury crew were on the scene, in Nelson Road, in just over five minutes.

They found the car ‘well alight’ but had the fire under control by about 6.15am, after using hose reels and breathing apparatus.

According to Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, the fire was caused by an electrical fault.
