The author of Tommy Treadwood the BMX Hero will be signing copies of the book at Waterstones in the Buttermarket, Bury St Edmunds, on December 7.

The book’s hero Tommy Treadwood begins the tale as a struggling rider until some magical cycling clips change his fortunes.

Author Adrian Copping, of Stowmarket, said the idea for his first children’s book came from his past.

When he first met his wife Adrian was the proud rider of a push bike and would refer to himself as Captain Cycle Clips.

Adrian will sign copies of the magical tale between 10am and 3pm.
