A campaign bus promoting an initiative to get small businesses to switch to renewable energy will be touring the Bury St Edmundfs area tomorrow (Friday).

The bus, run by green Ipswich-based energy specialist Haven Power will be promoting the company’s 100 per cent renewable power package which includes an energy audit by Business Energy Efficiency Anglia, free registration with the Carbon Charter which would normally cost £550 and access to grant funding for improvements identified in the audit.

A report commissioned by Haven Power suggests 72 per cent of small and medium businesses would like their energy suppliers to be more committed to renewables.

The bus will be at Lion Barn Industrial Estate, Needham Market, at 10am, before moving on to Bury to be at Lark Valley Business Centre at 11am, Hillside Business Park at 12.30pm, Forbes Business Centre at 1pm, Chamberlyne Road at 3pm and Ailwin Road at 4pm.
