BUSINESS leaders in Suffolk are seeking views on the future of the A14.
Suffolk Chamber of Commerce is working alongside the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership other business bodies to set up an online questionnaire to gauge opinion on what should be done with the road.
One suggestion is that the A14 has toll lanes to ease the heavily congested and problematic stretch.
The survey hopes to ensure the voice of industry is heard when decisions are made by the Government of improvements on the road. ‘The A14 challenge’ survey finishes at the end of January.
John Dugmore, chief executive of Suffolk Chamber of commerce said: “The A14 plays a fundamental part of the daily operation of the Suffolk economy. Tolling is only one option. But there has been a lot of coverage of this option which is why it is important that business takes a few moments to go to the website and complete the survey.”
