A COMPANY which specialises in providing cleaning, landscaping, maintenance and pest control services has had a good start to 2011 by winning several major contracts.

The Servest Group, which is based at the Heath Farm Business Centre, in Fornham All Saints, has gained contracts to clean 340 NEXT stores through the UK, including the shop on the arc in Bury St Edmunds.

It has also won contracts to clean the common area at Morrisons’ largest distribution centre in the UK and the refrigeration and chiller cabinets in 420 Morrisons stores.

And Servest will also be providing cleaning and housekeeping services for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) at its site in Parliament Square, London.

“We are delighted to be working with new customers NEXT, RICS and Morrisons in 2011,” said Rob Legge, group chief executive for the Servest Group. “These add to our portfolio of customers and confirm Servest’s position as a leading multi-service provider for soft services in the UK and Ireland.”

The group, which employs more than 5,000 people in the UK and Ireland, also specialises in security, washroom and waste management services.

Other clients include British Sugar, Primark, Tesco, Debenhams, The Science Museum, The Natural History Museum and Cambridgeshire County Council.
