A PET care superstore has come to the aid of a local charity struggling to raise £70,000.
Pets at Home, which opened a new store in Thetford last Friday, has partnered with Feline Care, East Harling, to help gain the last £26,000 needed to save them from being closed.
Donna Blake, store manager, said Pets at Home is hoping to raise awareness of Feline Care’s situation, and is optimistic that can be achieved.
“We want to be at the heart of the pet community, supporting local charities,” she said.
Pets at Home opened last Friday at Forest Retail Park, with help from children from Redcastle Family School.
A busy turn out for the weekend raised over £200 in the first two days.
