TWO new health clinics open this month in Bury St Edmunds helping people get back on track after over-indulging at Christmas.
The Bury Natural Health Centre, run by Sarah Birell, has moved to new premises at Park Farm Business Centre, in Fornham St Genevieve, and officially opened on Saturday.
Former British Olympic long-distance runner Sally Eastall cut the ribbon for the new clinic which offers 20 different types of sport and well being therapies.
The new building also hosts a new digital imaging service, which is used to help assess injuries as well as detect early signs of breast cancer.
Owner Sarah said: “The digital imaging service is one of our more innovative services and we are the only place in East Anglia to offer it.”
The second health clinic to open in town is the Lifetime Nutrition Fat Loss and Wellness Clinic.
It will officially tomorrow at 10am at the Self Centre, on Moreton Hall, and offers a 12-week weight management programme with one-to-one support to help people get their weight under control and health back on track.
Amanda Locke, who already runs a clinic at Newmarket Health Centre, said: “The purpose of the Fat Loss and Wellness Clinic is to reduce obesity by educating people about food and the impact it has on their health.”
The clinic is holding a free session from 10am-4pm tomorrow. It will run every Thursday evening at the self Centre.
