LISA Eastwood has won a national award for boosting her family’s business.

As the Bury Free Press reported last week, Lisa was one of three finalists in the National Federation of Newsagents’ Awards for taking her family’s two shops into online trading. Her parents Lynda and Trevor Whitehouse have owned Court News in Glastonbury Road, Bury St Edmunds for seven years and nearby Ridley Stores for two years. Lisa, 27, set up to boost sales.

On Tuesday she attended the awards dinner at the Park Plaza Hotel in London. She said: “It was nice to get dressed up and feel special. They said ‘the winner is’ then ‘Lisa Eastwood’ and I couldn’t believe it.”
