A manufacturer of quality labels has just moved into new premises in Bury St Edmunds after growing out of its old home.

Willowbridge Labels has moved from its original base on the Rougham Industrial Estate to be on the same factory site as its parent company, the Denny Bros, in Kempson Way, on the Suffolk Business Park in Moreton Hall.

The company’s new home was officially declared open jointly by managing director Karl Seeley and Barry Denny, chairman of the Denny Bros Group.

Willowbridge supplies a variety of labels to a range of industry sectors including the pharmaceutical, informational, cosmetic, food and drink, safety and distribution markets.

Growing demand for its products has seen the company go from strength to strength and triggered its search for larger premises to cope with the increasing workload.

Mr Seeley said: “The new factory and offices will provide greater efficiency in how we serve our clients.

“We have outgrown our current factory and offices and we were fortunate to be offered space within the grounds of our owners, Denny Bros Group, and so close to our current office.

He added: “We really wanted to limit the impact that relocation could have on our clients and our employees.

“I don’t think we could have found a better location for our team.

“Our new location and enhanced operational efficiencies will help us continue to grow and evolve to keep pace with our clients’ needs, allowing us to provide exceptional value and superior service.

“The move is simply because Willowbridge has outgrown its current premises.”

The company has taken on extra staff, including two apprentices, and the company has also brought its marketing ‘in-house’ employing a CIM qualified marketer.

The company has set its sights on growing the business and now has the capacity and workforce to do this.

Willowbridge Labels started life in a village shed in 1983.

After significant growth, it came to the attention of specialist print group Denny Bros, which acquired the firm in 2005.
