Johnston Press launches cross-media advertising solution

The parent company of the Bury Free Press, Johnston Press, has taken a significant step forward with its innovative process for creating online and mobile adverts.

The company’s digital display advertising solution, Easy Online Display, which allows local advertisers to seamlessly buy both print and digital services, has added mobile to its service portfolio.

It is the first media company to offer this service, enabling customers to serve their advertising message across print, fixed web and now mobile from a single campaign.

David Chipchase, JP’s head of online display product, said: “Having the ability to deliver three valuable audiences to our local advertisers within the same campaign ensures our customers can access our total digital audience across multiple devices for the first time.”
