Profit for Bury St Edmunds ingredients company Treatt shoot up to £2.8 million in latest results

Bury St Edmunds ingredients company Treatt has seen its revenues rise by 11 per cent to £37.1 million in its half year results.

Adjusted profit before tax for the business also shot up by 39 per cent to £2.8 m in the six months ending March 31.

Treatt supplies ingredient solutions for the flavour, fragrance and consumer goods industries.

Daemmon Reeve, group CEO, said: “Our strategy is gaining good traction and, coupled with the effort and focus of our teams across the globe, the results are translating into profits today and laying the groundwork for opportunities tomorrow.”
