A former sous chef is to take the reins from his old boss after being promoted as head chef of Tuddenham Mill.
Lee Bye will take over at the restaurant in February following the departure of award winning Paul Foster, who is taking a position at a hotel in Warwickshire.
Mr Bye worked with Mr Foster as his sous chef for two years before moving on and later returned to help out at the Agellus Hotels group, which owns and manages Tuddenham Mill.
He said: “My style is very much a boy who has grown up in the country who loves working with the best produce that the region has to offer. The food at Tuddenham Mill will be a mix of local and British produce working strongly within the seasons and focusing on taste and balance. I love nostalgia in my dishes and enjoy bringing modern techniqes where necessary.”
