THE second Bury St Edmunds Business Festival will be staged in September, with organisers hoping it will be bigger and better than the first event.
The dates for the 10-day event are September 11 to 21 and it will kick off with the Menta Trade Fair.
Last year, the festival had 1,500 visitors and enabled a range of local businesses and organisations to network and create opportunities for those attending.
The event was organised through St Edmundsbury Borough Council and it was supported by the Bury Free Press, Hethel Engineering Centre and the Exhibition of Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership, Mid Anglia Enterprise Agency (Menta), Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill and Newmarket chambers of commerce, West Suffolk College, Bid4Bury and the Theatre Royal.
Cllr John Griffiths, leader of St Edmundsbury said: “We are looking forward to building on the fantastic success of last year’s festival and continuing to do all we can to support local business in these challenging times.”
