A BURY St Edmunds fashion retailer has launched its own customer loyalty card.

Javelin, in Abbeygate Street, launched the scheme on Monday and is offering customers points on purchases which can then be redeemed as vouchers to spend in the store.

Javelin, which stocks brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Diesel, Ted Baker and Superdry, is also set to launch a fully transactional website. This, too, will be part of the loyalty scheme.

n A CHIROPRACTER from Bury St Edmunds has been awarded the Patient Partnership Quality Mark (PPQM) by the College of Chiropracters.

Marié Broodryk, of Abbey Chiropractic, in Glastonbury Road, was presented with the award at a ceremony in London earlier this month.

The award is given to practices which meet patients’ expectations in a range of areas.

n TWO popular television programmes are due to feature products from Thetford-based IntelliHeat.

Melinda Messenger’s Cowboy Builders and 60 Minute Makeover will show the company’s eco-friendly radiators and heating systems in action.

Intelliheat says its technology can help to cut energy bills.
