A major insurance company is teaming up with West Suffolk College to take on 30 Apprentices in Ipswich for the first time.
The Direct Line Group wants 30 apprentices to work in customer services on a two-year programme which will give them practical job experience as well as qualifications.
West Suffolk College has already filled more than 500 Apprenticeship vacancies with employers - double last year’s number.
Phil Stittle, director of business development at the college in Bury St Edmunds said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for local people to secure a position in one of the leading UK insurance companies and develop their career in the sector.”
The posts will involve answering a range of different customer’s calls and dealing with their questions. For more information, visit: www.findapprenticeship.service.gov.uk/apprenticeship/-11607
