Three free business workshops

BUDDING entrepreneurs are being invited to learn about starting their own business – for free.

Three morning workshops will take place in Bury St Edmunds, educating those interested in starting their own business. The course will be run by Havebury Housing, in conjunction with the Suffolk enterprise agency Menta.

Sarah-Jane Hatt, worklessness adviser said the sessions would be led by an expert covering areas such as, personal strengths and weaknesses, pricing structures, the pros and cons of working for yourself and also give participants the opportunity to enter a competition to win a start-up cash prize from a total fund of £1,800.

The workshops will run on September 20, September 27 and October 4 and are available to the tenants of Havebury’s 6,000 homes.
