Newmarket Journal NOVEMBER 2012 Business Accelerators finalist Abbey and David Farrant with thier sweet cart.
Abbey and David Farrant from Red Lodge run Nuts About Sweets which they set up last year.
The business hires out sweet carts built by David which are stocked with sweet and savory snacks to weddings, business events and parties.
Their catchment extends beyond the local area to clients in London, Guildford, Warwick and Essex.
Abbey said: “We’re very happy and very excited. We want to get ourselves out there and are very excited at the opportunity to tell people what we offer.
“When we started we only expected the odd job and can’t believe how it has taken off. We want to do more corporate functions and it will be good to reach a wider audience. It’s good to be recognised.”
The companny has just launched its spinning Ferrero Roche tower and for Valentine’s Day has brouguht a Valentine sweet cone which has taken off really well.
