Taxi firm 'busier by the day'

A transport firm which started out 18 months ago purely working for the NHS in Suffolk has expanded into a taxi service in Bury St Edmunds.

Matthew and Zoe Chapman started Fleetwood Cars 18 months ago based at their home.

Now the business is operating out of a unit in Ailwin Road on Moreton Hall, has five cars and after just a few weeks it already has its sights on expanding.

"We are getting a lot of calls. Every day is busier than the previous," said Matthew. "We plan to attract more vehicle owner-drivers and take on more contract work.

"We have vehicles with wheelchair access, have a contract for the school run with the council. We have minibuses and are offering business accounts as well.
