Harvey’s gold hat-trick hope
HARVEY’S Garden Plants in Thurston has won a gold at the BBC Gardeners World show.
The win comes after earning gold at the Chelsea flower show – and owner Roger Harvey is setting his sights on a hat-trick at the RHS Hampton Court Palace flower show next month.
He said: “It was surprising to win really – you can never anticipate how the judging will go. This win was especially good for our nursery manager Jan Cavell and apprentice Chris Wiley, who was on his first build.
“Can we make it three in a row?
“It depends on the weather but we’ll give it our best shot.”
