STAFF from building firm R G Carter have raised £39,500 for the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (Each).
It is thought to be the largest amount raised by a company or organisation for the charity.
The money was raised through a relay cycle around R G Carter’s10 offices over six weekends last year.
The cyclists travelled from Norwich, through Fakenham, King’s Lynn, Peterborough, Cambridge, Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, Colchester, Ipswich, Harleston and Drayton with a visit to the Quidenham and Ipswich hospices on the way.
Each was the company’s primary charity last year.
