Bury St Edmunds aid charity wins award
A charity based in Bury St Edmunds, which sends decommissioned NHS equipment to developing countries, has won a regional award.
Aid to Hospitals Worldwide (A2HW) received a Business in the Community, East of England regional award on Tuesday.
It was given the Anglian Water Most Innovative New Programme award.

It relies on donations to keep its warehouse, vehicles and team of more than 60 volunteers in operation.
A2HW works in partnership with West Suffolk Hospital in Bury, as well as the Addenbrooke's NHS Trust, and Bedfordshire and Luton NHS Trust. It also works closely with other medical units across the Eastern region.
