A Suffolk restauranteur is to reveal his recipes in a new book.

Regis Crepy owns Maison Bleue in Bury St Edmunds, The Great House in Lavenham and The Mariners in Ipswich.

Together with four of his chefs, he has written Bon Appetit, which will be launched at Waterstones in The Buttermarket, Bury, from 6.30pm on October 29.

“It is something that I have wanted to do for a long time.

“I have been in the business for 35 years – there are very few people who have owned restaurants for so long.

“The restaurant experience is much more than food. A person wont go back if the service is bad even if the food is good.

“The idea of the book is that they are going to discover how to cook these things while reminding them of what we do.

“The recipes we have chosen are quite easy but will taste great,” Regis said,

The five chefs will be giving a cookery demonstration in The Apex on Monday (22) from 7pm in aid of St Nicholas Hospice. Visit theapex.co.uk
