Tickets to this year’s Bury Folk Festival are now on sale - with organisers seeking stewards to help run the event.
The festival’s exciting line-up includes the likes of Hannah Sanders, The Malingerers, Two Coats Colder, Bof!, The Bounty Hounds and Sound Tradition as well as local favourites such as Kelly and Wooley, Reset Prose and The Larks.
The event kicks off at Nowton Park nursery on July 2.
Steve Martin, one of the organisers, said: “Bury’s first ever Folk Festival last summer was so successful that public requests and even demands meant that we had to start working on the 2016 Bury Folk Festival only a matter of weeks after we’d finished clearing the site of the first one.
“Building on last year’s experience the Bury Folk Collective founders have put together a great line-up of local and regional folk music talent for this year.
“We still need some stewards to help with putting up and taking down gazebos, fixing on wrist bands, manning the merchandise stalls and selling tickets at the entrance.”
To volunteer email firstname.lastname@example.org. Stewards get free entry. Tickets are £15 for adults, £7.50 for children under 16, and under fives get in for free.
