Craig Smith, an apprentice from Bury St Edmunds, has been shortlisted for the ‘Outstanding Performance by a First Year Apprentice’ award.

Craig, 19, is a first year apprentice at GE Aviation, in Newmarket, and has been shortlisted in this year’s EEF/Aldermore Future Manufacturing Awards along with six other first year apprentices. They impressed judges with their dedication and determination to pursue a career in manufacturing.

Craig will learn whether he has won the regional title, which is sponsored by JAM Recruitment, at a ceremony at Mercedes-Benz World in early 2015.
