MAPLE Building Services, which has offices in Bury St Edmunds, Long Melford and Sudbury, has won an industry award.

The firm was named the Consistent Builder of Quality 2012 by the LABC (Local Authority Building Control) for East Anglia.

Rees Pryer Architects, in Bury, won the LABC best affordable housing scheme award for its redevelopment of a derelict pub in St Olaves Road, into flats and houses.

It was also highly commended in the East of England Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors awards for a Cambs development.
