The scintillating sounds of one of the country’s top swinging ensembles will be coming to Suffolk in May.
The Galaxy Big Band will be bringing its Swing thru’ Spring show to the Quay Theatre in Sudbury on May 5, with a night of vintage classics in store.
An 18-piece spectacular bursting with brass, soul and swing, the band will run through its freshly made, hand-picked set featuring tunes from the likes of Count Basie, Glenn Miller and the incomparable Ella Fitzgerald.
A Michael Buble number here and there will keep fans of modern swing happy and are sure to keep toes tapping.
The band’s big sound is complemented by vocal performances from Martin Leigh and Steph Brown.
The band’s new show, in their 14th year, is set to deliver an evening of delights for fans of swing.
