A charity which supports vulnerable children is holding a pop up clinic tomorrow at the United Reformed Church in Bury St Edmunds.
Mum’s The Word was formed by Lindsey and Tom Cleary with the aim to re-allocate clothes and equipment to the most vulnerable children in Eastern Europe and also here in the UK.
The charity has been so successful that Kim Turner, from Bury St Edmunds, its newly appointed area manager, is now hoping to help local children in need.
Kim said: “We’re appealing for people who may be having a spring clean or have unwanted items which would help youngsters from 0 to 16 who are in real need.”
There will also be a cake sale on the day and people can pop along to the clinic from 11.30am to pick up items that they may need.
Donations can be dropped off at the church on the day or contact Kim on 07557 258875. More about the charity is available on www.mumsthewordcharity.co.uk
