HORRINGER Court Residents’ Association may fold without more support.
The association, formed in April 2010, has its annual meeting on Tuesday at 7.45pm in Horringer Court Middle School and is urging new members to join its management group.
Vice-chairman Jacky Nunn said: “This AGM is a crossroads for us. We need people to step forward or we will have to fold and that would be such a shame after all the work we have put in.”
The group, whose chairman Eddie Stribling died before Christmas, has provided a twice-yearly newsletter, ran a fete in 2011 and is campaigning for a bus shelter outside the school. It has also helped some residents to get streets lights turned back on for safety reasons.
