Accountancy firm expands into Bury St Edmunds

Accountancy firm Lovewell Blake has opened its tenth office in East Anglian, in Bury St Edmunds.

The office on the Hillside Business Park, will be managed by Cathryn Brooker who has worked in accountancy for more than 20 years and who has been with the firm for 11 years, most recently at its Thetford office.

She is joined by Jemma Jackson who has moved across from the Thetford office and who qualified last year as a chartered certified accountant.

Financial planning consultant Kevin Farrell and mortgage specialist Julie Cross who has moved from the Thetford office, will both be part of the new Bury team.

Partner David Buller, manager Paul Milton and tax manager Colin Chamberlain will combine there roles at Thetford with the new office in Bury, as will partner Brian Floringer who has nearly 30 years of experience with the company and who specialises in family business.

Mr Floringer is also a fellow member of the International Centre for Families in Business.

Douglas Young who is head of the firm’s agricultural team said the new office is ‘critical to the firm’s expansion plans’.

He will work regularly from the Bury office as will tax partner Colin Fish and VAT consultant Liz Hill.
