PUPILS at Barningham Primary are in stitches following the launch of a knitting club.
Thirteen children have joined the club and plan to make sqaures of material to form blankets.
The club - a first of its kind for the school - was formed this term by cover supervisor Bernadette Pitt while a grandmother of a pupil also offers support.
Headteacher Frances Parr said: “They’re enjoying learning a new and different skill and it’s a mixture of boys and girls which is good.
“Some of them have been doing it at home with their own mums and grans which is really good.”
