PART of the A 14 at Beyton will be closed overnight for a week while resurfacing and safety work is carried out.
A six mile section of the eastbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am from Monday, July 25 to Tuesday, August 2.
The closure will run between New Road bridge, at junction 44, and Thurston Road bridge, at junction 46.
There will also be stud replacement and white line painting undertaken.
A temporary 50mph speed limit and overtaking ban will operate on the approach to junction 44 and traffic will be taken in a convoy between junction 44 at the Moreton Hall Interchange and the Thurston Road bridge for the duration of the work.
The exit slip road at junction 46 will be closed and a diversion route put in place.
