Around 8,000 people flocked to Rougham at the weekend to enjoy the annual Wings, Wheels and Steam country fair.

The two-day event, blessed with glorious sunshine, featured miniature and full-sized steam engines which paraded around the airfield.

There were also displays of classic cars, tractors, motorbikes, military vehicles and a number of Land Rovers, which were on show to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the vehicle.

Michael Heyland, one of the organisers, said: "This was our 11th weekend and we had a very good turnout on both Saturday and Sunday.

"It was a lovely weekend, not too hot, and there was a bit of a breeze. There were lots of good stalls which people enjoyed looking at and the entertainment was fantastic."

Visitors were kept entertained by a sheep dog display, terrier racing, morris dancers, birds of prey flying demonstrations, circus skills and a Punch and Judy show.

Around 100 planes lined the airstrip over the weekend, which also featured acrobatic performances from a Skingsby T67 Firefly and YAK 52.
