Sicklesmere: Would-be thieves flee

Three would-be thieves fled Sicklesmere Post Office on Tuesday morning.
Two women went into the shop at around 11.50am and when the assistant went to help one of them, a man went into the till area.

The three were challenged by the assistant and ran off towards Bury St Edmunds. Nothing was taken.

The man is described by police as white, in his early 20s, with short dark hair and wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt. One woman is described as white, in her early 20s, 5ft 8ins tall with dark hair in a ponytail, while the other is white, in her early 20s, 5ft 7ins tall with blonde hair in a ponytail.
