Parish councillors: 13 crucial forms still to be returned

Only 13 parish councillors in St Edmundsbury have still to return their Register of Interest forms, after 50 originally failed to complete the appropriate paperwork which enables them to serve as councillors.
A report to St Edmundsbury Borough Council's Standards committee on April 30 had said that a number of councillors had failed to return their Register of Interest forms and acceptance of office paperwork.

However, at that meeting councillors were told that Fakenham Magna and Whepstead Parish Councils had submitted their outstanding paperwork.
