Mother and daughter taken to hospital after car overturns on A14

A mother and daughter were cut free from their overturned car after an accident on the A14 at Risby yesterday.
One lane of the eastbound carriageway was closed while emergency services dealt with the accident at 3.25pm.

Three fire engines from Bury St Edmunds were called to the accident, while involved a yellow Fiat Punto.

Both women were taken to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury, where they were treated for minor injuries and subsequently discharged.

The air ambulance attended the accident, however it did not have to taken anyone to hospital.
