The Cattle Market development, in Bury St Edmunds, is beating the credit crunch with more retailers and homeowners joining the multi-million pound arc project.
Hobbs, La Senza, Blacks, Lush, Swarovski and Jack & Jones are all in the final stages of leasing units.
According to developers Centros, a further four retailers have shown an interest, which would leave just eight out of 36 units vacant.
The development is also breaking the trend in the housing market as five flats have already been reserved.
On Tuesday, David Lewis, associate director for Centros, told a meeting of St Edmundsbury Borough Council's Bury Area Working Party: "It's a difficult market but we are very encouraged and we'll have fewer units available on opening than I predicted two months ago.
"Given the residential market we are in, we are very pleased. We will still have to give it another push in January."
The development is due to open during the first week in March 2009.
