Angelic readings, crystal energy, Reiki and music provided a soothing environment for visitors at All Angels Day, held at the Athenaeum, in Bury St Edmunds, on Saturday.
"The day was a great success – it was perfect,' said Cosmo Verner, owner of the Crystal Merchant. "The community embraced our holistic approach to life and our wish to encourage communication, inspiration, love and light."

Attractions included a children's area with angel meditations, yoga dancing and wand making, free workshops and taster sessions and a prize draw. The event was also host to 45 exhibitors, organic suppliers and natural products and jewellery stalls.

The Athenaeum was decorated with illustrations of angels by local primary school children.

The fund-raising total for All Angels Day stands at £500, with 20 per cent of every £2.50 entrance fee donated to East Anglia's Children's Hospices and St Nicholas Hospice Care.

A second All Angels Day will take place in the Athenaeum, Bury, on December 5. For further information and forthcoming events, visit www.allangelsday.org
