Man dies in m-bike crash

Police are looking for witnesses to a crash in which a motorcyclist died.
Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision on the A134, near Great Cornard, on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision, a mile outside Sudbury near the Wyevale Garden Centre, at around 7.05pm.

Police say a motorbike had been involved in a collision with a Mitsubishi 4x4 vehicle.

The motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was today named as Darren Sparkes, 28, of Maldon Court, Great Cornard.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or may have any further information to contact Pc John Wilson, at the HQ Roads Policing Unit, on 01473 613500.
