A 40-year old man was arrested this morning and charged with the murder of Mary Griffiths.
Police arrested the man at a location in Norfolk, and he was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Station, where he was charged with the murder of Mary Griffiths.
Ms Griffiths, 38, a mother of three, was found seriously injured at her home in Bull Rush Crescent, in Bury St Edmunds, early on the morning of Wednesday, May 6. She was taken to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury, where she died a short time later.
John McFarlane, who is from the Bury St Edmunds area, appeared before magistrates and was released on conditional bail until his next court appearance.
